The aim of this course is to give ship visitors and other seafarers’ welfare personnel an awareness and understanding of gangway safety. A marine shipping site is not an inherently safe place to work. That is why ship visitors need to take the extra initiative to understand how to safely board a ship and operate in that work environment. Safe access to ships will improve your service to seafarers and ultimately promote their satisfaction.
